Being a volunteer is a way to offer some of your time and energy to the kids. It will be a wonderful (sometimes a life changing) experience for you! The kids are so happy to meet you!

You can be a volunteer to assist the Bioh memorial children’s village in any way you can. For example assisting the teachers or care givers, help in the kitchen, health care, administrative assistance, fundraising, PR, social media, construction and maintenance, gardening, farming or breeding and many more. We will try to match your request, talents and skills to our needs. Feel welcome to mail us!

Apart from the rewarding project … Ghana is great, the people are so friendly, it is a safe and English speaking country. Anyanso is small, rural village in the Ashante region south of Kumasi that will give you the experience of what every day life looks like for most people in Ghana. Since the founder of this projectis an Ashante chief, he can inform you about Ashanti traditions. The surrounding landscape is also very beautiful: lush green hills with terracotta roads, the wonderful Bosomtwe lake and Ashante’s capital Kumasi are nearby.

There is no funding for volunteers yet, so we are compelled to ask volunteers to pay (moderate) fees for the expenses of the duration of their stay. Accommodation will be provided. If you are able to do fundraising in your home, friends or family network in order to contribute to (a certain part of) the project, then that is most welcome!
